Sad news to report today: Trans actress and famous sibling, Alexis Arquette died Sunday morning at the age of 47.
Alexis, who is of course related to David and Patricia Arquette, passed away surrounded by family and friends after battling a currently unknown illness.
According to her brother, Richmond Arquette, Alexis died at 12:35 AM while listening to David Bowie‘s “Starman.”
“Never have I had the honor of knowing and loving a funnier more beautiful soul then my brother/sister Alexis,” said David in a statement regarding Alexis’ death.
You probably remember Alexis from her roles in “Pulp Fiction,” “The Wedding Singer,” and one of my favorite films, “Bride of Chucky.”
Also, there was that iconic moment in pop culture when she charged at a guy with an umbrella during the VH1 show “The Surreal Life.”
Rest in peace Alexis. You will be missed.
