The reports are building up and what started as just a rumor is turning into a reality (well allegedly)…
Is “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster faking or exaggerating her Lyme disease?
“I spend most of my days in bed,” said Yolanda at the season six premiere party for RHOBH. “I’ve been in bed for exactly a year.”
But if you’ve been reading the blogs recently you’d know that there’s theories going around that Yolanda may be playing up her illness for attention.
And now US Weekly has picked up the story with sources that say Yolanda’s now ex-husband David Foster is skeptical as well.
“David and his family think Yolanda just loves the attention of being sick,” a friend of David reveals. “They believe she’s exaggerating her condition. And they point out that she’s never gotten a legit diagnosis or a second or third opinion.”
As you can imagine, his feelings about the illness definitely caused tension within their marriage.
“He didn’t understand why Yolanda wouldn’t leave The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills if she’s in so much pain and so tired,” says a second source.
“He’s famous and private and rich, so it was frustrating Yolanda wanted to do this show so badly.” The source adds that David shelled out nearly $5 million on Yolanda’s treatments.”
Those close to Yolanda are of course sticking by her side and say “The sickness is very real and not fake.”
So what do you think folks? Ever since Brooks Ayers faked cancer on “Real Housewives of Orange County,” it’s hard not to put faking an illness past people, huh?
