ConDRAGulations to RuPaul Charles who, after eight seasons of hosting RuPaul’s Drag Race, has finally snagged himself his first Emmy nomination!
It was announced Thursday that the drag icon had been nominated for outstanding host for a reality or reality-competition program.
But that’s not all folks, Drag Race was also nominated in the category of outstanding costumes for a variety, nonfiction or reality program.
Rupaul took to Twitter to dedicated his nomination, tweeting, “I dedicate this Emmy nomination to outsiders everywhere. Brave souls who stick to their dreams and make the world a more colorful place.”
After the news broke, social media lit up in a hazy, season one glow with stars and colleagues sending their congratulations to Ru!
